Packing Up

In roughly a week we will be gearing up for our trip to Ireland. Even though this summer has been a tease, the weather will still be a tad cooler across the pond. We are renting a car, but I am trying to pack an appropriate amount for me one of us to carry.

Here are a few things that will be in my bag (both old and new):

- Word of advice: Those jeans are amazing! I now have two in case they decide to discontinue them again -

Jewels

It is no secret I love jewelry! I think they can take an outfit from drab to fab (well that sounded super cheesy)!

I am not picky in my sources... I just want a good quality piece for not a lot of money. These days that is not tough. Some of my favorite are Anthropologie, C. Wonder, J. Crew, Etsy, etc.

But, my all time fav is Bauble Bar. The best part is you are awarded with points that you can turn around and use. I am a sucker for coupons!

Office Space

Full-time bloggers have the cutest office spaces. I wish I had the need/funds to completely overhaul our in-home office but that is not the case. Target has been a lifesaver in making my office less sterile but I am itching for some more desk additions.

Golden Touch

Not gonna lie... a few years ago I was not on the gold bandwagon. I thought it was super cheesy with a touch of gaudy. Now I love it! Some of my favorite pieces of jewelry are gold and I am still loving my coffee table addition from Furbish Studio.

I am itching to get some more gold touches here at the house, especially for the upcoming holiday season. Here are a few pretties:

Guess what day it is?

I get woken up by that quote every Wednesday morning now... thanks Geico!
So what is happening in the Williams world?
  • We went to the lake last weekend and I realized how old I am; I went tubing and by entire body aches. Winston was not a fan of the tube and was quite confused at why I was following behind the boat... It was a funny sight from my viewpoint.
  • I have tons of house projects I could be doing but guess what I do every night for like four hours... Ancestry.com. It is actually quite addicting and making me look forward to our trip even more. We are slowly finding Irish lineage so that equals a success in my book.
  • In conjunction with the last bullet, we haven't done much lately other than on-the-go all the time or working, working, working. However, there is a light at the end of the tunnel (in October)
Happy Hump Day!

Factory Shopping

The best thing since sliced bread... J. Crew Factory. (Not really but maybe kinda)

I love a good deal and the factory site always has sales. Their items are great staples and a great price point. I just wish other companies would follow suit.

- The sweater says sold out but I am crossing all my limbs that they bring it back -

H&M

In case you haven't heard, H&M finally launched an ecommerce site... and they threw home decor items into the launch as well.

With our upcoming trip, I am in the market for some good travel clothes. Not only is H&M very wallet friendly but I am still rocking all my clothes I have bought from them.

Another high point to the new site is my lower stress level. I despise the store here because it is always packed and so un-organized. I don't know if the hubs thinks online shopping is a health benefit but I will try my case for it.
